TERMS
& CONDITIONS
PRICES
Prices include : Unlimited mileage in Portugal, Comprehensive collision
insurance, VAT and all taxes.
There are no hidden costs for necessary "extras".
Optional Extras:

One way
rentals are possible free of charge, except if the rental is 1 or 2 days length,
in that case there is a charge of 25.

Charges and deposit are paid on commencement of hire. You do not need to send
card details over the internet.
Driving to Spain requires a green card
and bail bond issued by our insurers.
DEPOSIT
We do not charge a reservation deposit so you do not need to send your
card details over the net.
The rental deposit can be made under a blank slip of your credit card. It will
be returned to you in the end of the rental.
EXCESS
The insurance policy has an excess clause. See price table for
applicable excess band.
You may waiver the excess clause on optional payment of an additional premium or
secure it by deposit of card details.

Super CDW - Excess Waiver Extension - Voids the excess (for H1, L1 and I3
reduces the excess to 150).
Waiver does not include tyres, glass or locks or damage caused by speeding.
Under Portuguese law insurance is void when drink driving.
COLLECTING YOUR CAR
When you come from the luggage room, follow the luminous indicator that advises
Other Rent a Cars and exit the airport building at the arrivals exit.
Youll have to cross the first car park (Park 1/2) until the palm trees.
Behind the palm trees, is car Park 4. You can find our staff at Row G
with Auto Rent logo on the clothes and in a van (as in the top of this letter).
If you do not see the airport rep or if you get lost you may call him on 96
56 56 765 or 96 51 00 288. There is a public phone near the arrivals area.
You may alternatively between 09.00 and 19.00 call the free phone number 800 212
011 and our office staff will call the airport rep for you. Please note that
mobile phones on roaming services may not call free phone services and that you
may need to dial a national code to call Portuguese numbers (00351).
Cars may be delivered to your hotel at no extra charge. Delivery times will be
as close as possible to requested subject to availability of staff. You will be
given a free phone number to finalise your delivery details with our head office.
RETURNING YOUR CAR
At Faro airport you should return your car to the car park and then
check it in with the rep. Please allow adequate time. You are responsible for
the car till it is checked in.
Hotel deliveries, the collection details will be arranged with the rep when the
car is delivered to you.
CAR TYPES
We invariably have the car that you request but due to damage and late
returns we may occasionally have to offer you an alternative, similar or better
car than the one you have requested. These circumstances are outside of our
control and we would ask for your patience. We have never left a client stuck
without a car.
The cars shown are the ones available at our internet prices. We may be able to
arrange other cars from companies within the group. They are likely to be more
expensive but we are happy to give you a price for your special requirements.
CAR AGE
Our undertaking is to provide a clean and safe car. Cars are retired
from our fleet on the basis of condition and age. Our fleet has 400 vehicles
with an average age of 9 months.
DRIVERS' AGE
Sorry but we cannot hire to drivers under 21. A tax will be charged to
drivers with ages between 21 and 25 years old: 25 .
BABY SEATS
We have conventional forward facing baby seats intended for children to
approximately 3 years old and booster seats for children to approximately 5
years. If you have a particular requirement for your child we recommend that for
peace of mind you bring your own child seat.

ACCIDENTS & CLAIMS
If you have an accident, theft or any other situation which will result in
an insurance claim it is your responsibility to get an police report number. You
need to call the police who will issue you a report number which must be
delivered to Auto Rent. Without this the insurance will not pay. This is a simple
procedure but if you have any problems you are welcome to call the company who
will happily assist. If there is loss to the car and you do not obtain a police
report you will remain liable for the damage. The car documents include full
contact numbers for the company.
THE COMPANY
Your hire is with Auto Rent. Full contact details will
be given on your contract on commencement of hire. There is a free phone number
to contact the office whilst in Portugal. The reception staff speak English.
We are committed to giving you a service which you will be pleased to use again
and recommend. If you are not happy with any aspect of the service you receive
please say so at the time. Please contact us, if possible whilst you are
still in Portugal.
